'Shrooms, Anyone?

This little pen and ink drawing was one I did several years ago, and just came across it recently.
I was really into mushrooms for a while....

Love Your Feet

This mural was one I painted for a Birkenstock Store on Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento, California. It was one I did in trade for a pair of Birks, my favorite shoes!

Guadalajara

After a delightful trip to Guadalajara with my friend, Randi, I painted this on her patio wall in front of her house in Mexico. It brings back fond memories of our trip.

Love Never Fails

Several years ago, I painted this watercolor for a woman named Edythe Carr as a birthday gift.

Murals for Friends

I painted this mural in the kitchen of a friend named Pam. She lived in the Bay Area of Northern California, but has since moved to Southern California.
It was a curio shelf and took about 6 hours to paint.

The Bear mural was one I painted on the nursery wall of a friend in North Highlands, for Peggy Sopher. Her "baby" just got married last year and is in the Coast Guard.

The Teapot Mural was painted for my Canadian friend, Randi, in Baja, California, Mexico. She lived in a house I had lived in for several years, and I painted the mural to set off her clock on the wall.

Murals for Our House

When my children were small, we lived in an old Victorian house in downtown Sacramento. The house was in need of repair and after painting the rooms, I decided to paint some murals.
These are a few of the murals I painted in their bedroom.

The Shop At Peacock

In Peacock, a wonderful woman named June Carlson has a little antique store. There isn't much in Peacock these days, so her place is about the only happening thing going on there.

I painted some Morning Glories on the building, and taught some art classes, hoping to get her some business.

The building used to be a Spanish-Speaking Church, pastored by Ray Flores. When I first moved to Texas, we attended the services and it was wonderful.

It's a quaint little shop, full of unique items from around these here parts, and they serve a wonderful luncheon, with the savory cooking done by June Clark of Peacock. It's a place you have to visit if you come through West Texas. June will tell you stories about her Uncle Joe Matthews who was a character around here for many years.

Cowboy Corbin

Corbin loves cowboy stuff. Anything to do with cowboys.
