Vincent and Talia

Recently I painted these two name plates for my niece and nephew. They are completely different forms of the same idea, but show some of the interesting possibilities. It has inspired me to do more artwork of this sort.

Bucket O'Cory

I often get requests to paint unusual items for customers. This bucket was one of several I painted for a woman who ran a daycare in town, and wanted these for Easter Baskets for her kids.
The farm animals went well with the bucket and I enjoyed doing this job.

'Shrooms, Anyone?

This little pen and ink drawing was one I did several years ago, and just came across it recently.
I was really into mushrooms for a while....in my teens. I think we called them "shrooms" back then.

Love Your Feet

This mural was one I painted for a Birkenstock Store on Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento, California. It was one I did in trade for a pair of Birks, my favorite shoes!

Guadalajara

After a delightful trip to Guadalajara with my friend, Randi, I painted this on her patio wall in front of her house in Mexico. It brings back fond memories of our trip.

Several years ago, I painted this watercolor for a woman named Edythe Carr as a birthday gift.

Murals for Friends

I painted this mural in the kitchen of a friend named Pam. She lived in the Bay Area of Northern California, but has since moved to Southern California.  It was a curio shelf and took about 6 hours to paint.

The Bear mural was one I painted on the nursery wall of a friend in North Highlands, for Peggy Sopher. Her "baby" is married now, with a family, and is in the Coast Guard.

The Teapot Mural was painted for my Canadian friend, Randi Waddell, in Baja, California, Mexico. She lived in a house I had lived in for several years, and I painted the mural to set off her clock on the wall.
